The first tip for getting a flat tummy fast is to consume foods that are very rich in protein and fiber. This is going to help you to build muscle fast and will optimize your time spent working out. The soluble fiber is going to shrink the belly fat. If you were to eat more fiber every day you could decrease your belly fat substantially without having to do much else. Do this consistently and over the years to see a permanent result. You want to eat food like oats, beans, fruits, and veggies to get the benefits. Try eating oatmeal for breakfast with fruit. Or you could add an apple to your snack. For the veggies try beans such as soy beans, pinto beans, chick peas or just basic vegetables like green peas.

When you start to add fiber to your diet and drinking more water, be sure to do it just a little at a time so your system adjusts to it. Drink more water to make sure you are hydrated. You should notice results quickly even if you add a tiny bit more fiber to your diet. To build up your fiber painlessly try the oatmeal for breakfast trick and you can just add fruit and flaxseed to it. Get the ground flaxseed you won't even notice you're eating it. Called shape wear, it will tuck you in better and reduce the lumpy look. Wear solid, darker color clothing as this will slenderize you. For working out try black stretchy workout pants but make sure they are high quality like Nike. For going out try a darker pair of blue jeans which also will slenderize you. Solid colors are always more slenderizing.

Make sure to draw focus up to your face by doing a bit of hair and makeup. Any upward visual distraction gives you a free body lift illusion and therefore your tummy will look smaller. If all else fails, wear chunky high heels. This will help balance out the the body and not make you look so stomach heavy. If you are wearing frail stilettos your tummy will stand out more making you look tummy heavy. But if you choose a nice platform style sandal or pump it will balance you out.
